I've had the privileged of working on the new Twitter HQ and wanted to write about a few of the details. I've tried to bring the outdoors in and to make the space playful yet useful and sustainable.

1. The bird decals were custom; traced from a photo I took in Nebraska while visiting @ev's dad.

2. The wallpaper in the coffee area was done by undoboy.

3. The concrete tables were a collaboration with myself and Mark Rogero at Concreteworks (@concreteworks). The concrete is 40% fly ash and 100% recycled aggregates, and the bases (as well as receptionist stand and twitter signs) are made of reclaimed barn wood from a barn in Wisconsin.

4. The couches were all custom copies of more famous designs from a store here in SF called Furniture Envy. If you want an affordable couch for your house, you should check them out.

5. The TELL YOUR STORIES HERE neon sign has graciously lent to twitter by an artist friend by the name of Mary Conrad (@M_Ry). Mary has a current show at Michael Rosenthall Gallery.

7. The framed pictures in the lobby are filled with other artist's work, press, office art, and user gifts. They will eventually be in the shape of two wings. I still have frames to fill.

8. The space was subleased from Bebo/ AOL. It was already equipped with the sick sound system and DJ booth.

10. Decorations are used objects that have been reinvented.

11. We used low or no-VOC paint.
